A Heroic Moment of Quick Thinking and Courage!
Friday, July 7th, a heart-stopping incident unfolded in our dining room. One of our residents began choking on their food, struggling to breathe. Panic filled the air, but in that critical moment, Marlin McKinney, one of our incredible Cooks, emerged as a true hero. With swift precision, Marlin dashed from the kitchen, positioned himself expertly, and administered the Heimlich Maneuver with unwavering strength. His rapid response and bravery dislodged the obstruction, saving the resident’s life.
