June 26th Topping Out Celebration

Hundreds gathered on a glorious summer afternoon to celebrate the Topping Out of Independent Living at The Barclay at SouthPark on Wednesday, June 26th.
In construction, Topping Out means the completion of the building’s core structure. Workers, spearheaded by our partner Choate Construction, poured the last of the Independent Living concrete roof over the majestic ninth floor of The Barclay at SouthPark last weekend and marked this milestone with a Topping Out celebration on Wednesday, June 26, 2019.
The crowd in attendance– which was quite large and energized – celebrated the accomplishments of the contractors and subcontractors who have worked tirelessly over many months to get The Barclay to this momentous point. All in attendance enjoyed a catered lunch, great music and a fantastic prize raffle.
