Tom Senger, Director of Sales & Marketing
Tom is originally from Cincinnati but has been a resident of Matthews for almost 30 years. He has worked in the Senior Living Industry for over 12 years and loves the mission of helping seniors navigate the retirement living landscape. He enjoys working and educating prospects and adult children, alike, on the nuances of the many types of Continuing Care Retirement Communities. In his free time, Tom enjoys spending time with his family and friends, taking walks with his dog and keeping up with his favorite college and professional sports teams.
Marlene Clarke Victorine, Sales Counselor
Marlene has been in the Senior Living Industry for over fifteen years and has extensive experience in opening new Communities from the ground up to being fully occupied. “Being a part of something that evolves from bricks and mortar into a vibrant energetic Community that enhances the wellbeing of seniors, is incredibly satisfying,” says Marlene. Having moved from the North Shore of Boston to the Charlotte area six years ago, Marlene is enjoying the warmer weather and boating on Lake Norman with her family and friends, but she does remain a tried and true Boston sports fan.
Blake Amerson, Sales Counselor
Blake grew up in Charlotte and has been in North Carolina for most of her life, except for six years in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her background is in public relations and marketing, but she knew she’d found her home when she fell into senior living. While she’ll always hold a soft spot for her first senior living community – she met her husband there, her parents now live there and her teenage son now waits tables there – she is ecstatic about being at The Barclay. In her free time, Blake can be found with friends and family, taking pictures, reading/writing, shopping, doing yard work and cooking only because they have to be done and feeling grateful about a heck of a lot.
