At The Barclay, Giving Back Never Retires

At The Barclay at SouthPark, giving back is more than a program. It is part of who we are. Many residents arrive with a lifelong commitment to service and philanthropy, and they continue that meaningful work within a community that actively supports generosity and purpose.
Residents support Handz of Hope, a Charlotte nonprofit serving families facing financial stress. Through Sandwiches for a Cause, residents assemble and distribute meals, collect clothing and toiletry items, and during the holidays wrap and deliver gifts. Donations also support the Charlotte Women’s and Children’s Shelter.
The Barclay hosts events including an annual Casino Night, an Oktoberfest, a carnival and a farmers market benefiting the Alzheimer’s Association, Parkinson’s Association, and other nonprofits. Residents knit and crochet hats for young cancer patients at Levine Children’s Hospital.
Here, generosity connects neighbors and strengthens community.
